“I wish to live a life that causes my soul to dance inside my body”
I have always known about the magic that happens when people are centered within themselves and are connected to their power, beauty and love. Through my own personal journey, I have come to understand that each one of us holds within us the relief to our suffering, the answers to our questions and the joy we are meant to experience. I also know how easy it is to forget our own truths and to question our own knowing. Life, as beautiful as it can be, makes “the remembering” a very difficult task.
I will work exceedingly hard with each individual to help create a world where women deeply and passionately love themselves. Where women live in harmony within themselves as well as with the larger world, through integration of the heart, mind, body and soul.
For over 25 years, I have had many clinical experiences which have contributed to the therapeutic work I do today. I have worked with children and their families at Temple University in the Department of Psychology and with opiate addicted individuals through the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Vermont. I provided counseling for women in a health clinic in Atlanta and was the head therapist for the adolescent boys in Chicago’s largest emergency shelter. I worked with the Jewish Federation in Skokie providing therapy for teens and their families, and most recently I have been in private practice for over 10 years both in Pittsburgh, PA and in Evanston, IL. I earned my Masters of Clinical Social Work at the University of Michigan and have received extensive post-masters trainings in Internal Family Systems, Reiki Energy Healing, Intuitive Counseling and Mindfulness Practice. I have completed Levels I, II, III and Teacher Training with Sonia Choquette (Intuitive), I have advanced training in Shamanic Healing through the Foundation for Shamanic Studies, and I am currently in an apprenticeship program with Sabrina Choquette to hone my Intuitive Counseling skills.
