Internal Family Systems

Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a unique and powerful approach that views the mind as made up of different "parts," each with its own thoughts and feelings. IFS helps you understand and heal these parts, fostering inner harmony and empowering your true Self to lead with compassion and clarity. This method is particularly effective for trauma, anxiety, depression, self-criticism, and relationship challenges. Through IFS, you can gain insight into your inner world, break unhelpful patterns, and build emotional balance.

Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a powerful, evidence-based treatment for trauma and emotional distress. It helps you process and reframe distressing memories by using bilateral stimulation (typically through guided eye movements), allowing your brain to heal and integrate past experiences in a healthy way. EMDR is highly effective for trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and phobias. In therapy, you can expect to work through difficult memories, reducing their emotional charge, and moving toward greater emotional resilience and well-being.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a goal-oriented, practical approach that helps you identify and change unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors. By exploring how your thoughts influence your emotions and actions, CBT empowers you to break negative cycles and develop healthier ways of thinking and coping. It’s highly effective for anxiety, depression, stress, insomnia, and overcoming negative self-talk. In therapy, you can expect to build skills for managing your thoughts, improving your emotional well-being, and making lasting positive changes in your life.

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a skills-based approach designed to help you manage intense emotions and improve relationships. By combining acceptance and change, DBT teaches practical skills in mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. It’s particularly effective for individuals with mood disorders, self-harm behaviors, borderline personality disorder (BPD), and chronic emotional dysregulation. In therapy, you can expect to gain tools to cope with emotional challenges, build resilience, and foster healthier, more balanced relationships.

Mindfulness & Somatic Therapies

Mindfulness and Somatic Healing combine the power of present-moment awareness with the wisdom of the body. This approach focuses on tuning into physical sensations, emotions, and breath to release stored tension and foster deep emotional and physical healing. By cultivating mindfulness, you can develop a greater connection to your body, reduce stress, and enhance overall well-being. Somatic healing is especially helpful for trauma, chronic stress, anxiety, and physical symptoms related to emotional imbalance. In therapy, you can expect to learn how to use breath, movement, and awareness to restore balance, clarity, and peace.
